Check For Microsoft Updates On My Mac

2012-4-18  I may need to update my copy of Excel for Mac. Apparently this is done (automatically or manually) with something called Microsoft Updater, which supposedly comes as part of the Microsoft suite. That's all that Excel's help menu tells me. However, I can't find any file or application called 'AutoUpdate' on my computer. Under Important Updates, choose Install updates automatically, and under Microsoft Update check the Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for new optional Microsoft software when I update Windows box to get the Office updates. Your IT department might set automatic updates for you. If they do, you'll see the message in the yellow bar, and you won't be able to use the Important.

Go to Software Update in System Preferences to find the macOS Catalina upgrade. Click Upgrade Now and follow the onscreen instructions to begin your upgrade. If you don’t have broadband access, you can upgrade your Mac at any Apple Store.
