Just finished High Sierra installation on my iMac 21.5 (2013 - 512 GB Apple SSD) - after making USB bootable drive (have 7 Macs in the house) -- was a little nervous about this new APFS format.
Microsoft Office 2011 Mac Os X High Sierra
The process took a while, even using USB drive - I think the transfer process to new APFS did take some time.
First, I want to confirm - office 2011 still alive, works as before (although MS no longer will update this product).
My other softwares seemed to be OK (although I do not use final cut or logic pro), even some educational geometry software (GSP5) acted like nothing happened.
My hard drive space (used to have use 110 GB) has shrunk to 95GB, as I can see the compression of this new OS.
There was a hiccup, that my time machine became 'Mac OS installation disk' but quickly resolved after a re-boot.
Just want to report, hopefully, other can provide their experience.
